When I went into the field of education, I never thought that I would be responsible for things like school expansions. I wanted to work with students and enrich lives. Instead, I often spend my days budgeting money for different necessities that pop up for our school. One that recently presented itself was the need for an expansion. In the last few years, our school has grown exponentially. It has been harder and harder to fit the number of students we have into the classrooms that are available. Initially we went our usually provider for portable classrooms. These are basically modular home like structures that we can just keep adding to our campus as the need arises. They are also supposed to be the most affordable option. However, we have recently been putting more money into repairing the portables that we already have, that I was seriously considering going another route to add space for our students.
General Steel was able to provide the perfect substitute for us. They had a great selection of metal buildings that were much more durable than the portables we currently had. Though I had never used a metal building as a classroom, I really liked the designs that they offered, and I was really to take a chance on this company. I am so glad that I did. The product they delivered was everything that needed. They actually looked really nice, and made the campus look more modern and well kept. Everyone liked the new building so much that it was decided to replace all of our portables with General Steel’s products.
